Queen Breeding.
(Available Spring 2022)
I was lucky enough to be taught by my dad and cousins how to select/graft/draw/hatch/introduce/mate/catch Queens. Sometimes called the poetry of beekeeping there is a lot of specific technique required and something that is hard to find taught in person. I will teach you a one day class on everything related to queen breeding. We will select broad of the proper age, learn grafting technique, discuss finisher hives and incubators, introduce cells into mating Nucs and catch and mark mated Queens. Lunch Provided. (9:00-5:00)

Sometimes it is hard to get all your questions across through text. You can call me and ask as many questions as you like, or video call me in the bee yard and show me the problem you are having.

Apiary Visit.
I will come to your Apiary and provide insight on your hives, diagnose hive health, and demonstrate techniques in person. 90 Min Visit. It is so much easier to learn something in person with hands on teaching.

Ride Along.
Spend the day with me working bees. Get a snapshot of what it is like to work as a beekeeper full time. I will be happy to answer all questions you may have. Depending on the time of year we could be grafting queens and splitting hives in the spring/early summer or in full commercial honey flow during July and August. Starting 8:30am-5:00pm.
Lunch will be provided.
